For that I would recommend the Samyang/Rokinon 7.5mm fisheye. I was so happy with it, and the results I could get defishing with the Hemi plugin and kenw's Adobe profiles, that I sold my 7-14.
Got it, love it, but it's also a no filter lens, and there is a difference. Once defished it's not nearly as wide as the 7mm, or even the 9mm for that matter, and you lose lots of data in the defishing. Fine if you're doing web work, not so good for printing or publishing. You also really have to watch the horizons because the wackier the image the hard it is to defish and the more you lose.
A Fish eye is an important tool for me, I have 3 of them, but it isn't a rectalinear wide angle.
No, not true. Using kenw's rectilinear profile for the Samyang, it's actually wider than the 7-14mm at 7mm. And of course the 7-14 doesn't take filters, either.
