Eagle2 this is eagle1-over

Just returned from watching an eagle chase an Osprey for his fish. The Eagle came out of some trees and dove low and then zoomed up under the Osprey. There was about less than a minute of intense turn and burn acrobatics to keep the eagle away, but the Eagle always gained. Finally the Eagle got within a foot and the Osprey dropped the fish, which the Eagle dove for and caught. Ospreys do not want to deal with those needle sharp talons or slashing beak. I watched with binoculars (Canon SI),a friend was able to get some shots with his 7d. We call this Eagle Top Gun. I have a shot of him in my album from a few days ago.
