Having shot with the X100, XPRO-1 and the XE-1 (I now own the XE-1 with 18 and 35) I think the 23 on the X100 is maybe the best of their lenses. However it is matched to the body better than any of the other lenses are and this may be why, I don't know. I do like the 35 but if I had to pick one, it would be the 23. The 18 is good, but not quite in the same league.
