Will Canon fix s100 lens that is not yet faulty?
Nov 30, 2012

I dropped my s100 yesterday (while wearing a wrist strap) and cracked the screen. Here in the UK my estimated price to fix is about £70. However I asked if the lens issue could be fixed at the same time as my camera is within the faulty batch numbers. I was told the screen will be fixed here in Glasgow but they have to send it to Germany for the lens fix. Do you think Canon will fix it as it has not yet gone faulty? I don't wan't to send it all that way and be told there is nothing wrong with it. (yet)
