What to do about my D200

Like you I'm looking at an upgrade from D200.

I love this camera, takes great photos, but lately I've been taking lots of low light/night shots & that's where it weakness lies.

Recently I bought my wife Canon G1X & for night photography it trumps D200.

The pictures are much cleaner, much less noise, fantastic colours as well.

I did few side by side sessions & D200 images at night/low light were inferior compared to Canon.

I have decided to upgrade to D600 in December.

For what I shoot full frame will be an advantage & low light capability is also much better.

I'll probably keep my D200 for sentimental reasons & perhaps macro photography.
