NEX 7 and magenta casting

I've only had my NEX 7 for a short time and I don't have experience with the MF legacy lenses that have issues with magenta casting, etc.   I do, however, have the new Sony 10-18 UWA and I'm really struggling to reproduce the examples I've seen here that clearly show magenta casting - in some cases severe.

Are there specific conditions that more easily show this issue -- distance to subject, lighting conditions, etc?   I'd appreciate anyone with experience with this issue whether it's with the 10-18 or legacy lenses pointing me in the right direction.

The bottom line for me is that I'm keeping the 10-18 either way and I have no problem changing from the NEX 7 to NEX 6 if necessary but I want to be sure.
