A65 users: help - iso settings - too much noise -This time access works

Sorry for my previous attempt at allowing access to a raw image I have questions about.
I've tested the access and it works for me... I hope its working now:
Reprint from a previous post(with minor corrections):
I'm a green horn so be warned from the start.
Seems like I see way more noise in images that my A65 thinks should have highish iso settings.
The raw arw image at the link provided was shot too late in the afternoon. I used auto settings I think but I was trying different things so really not sure. I see `auto' in the exif info but not sure if that means the main setting dial auto or the auto found in iso settings under fn button.
But anyway, is the amount of noise present in that image higher than others see or is the stuff worse that others of you see? I've googledin various places finding things like the "A65 can shoot `clean' images clear up to the 1600 range and beyond". Is that a bunch of hooey?
More than likely there are more serious mistakes I've made that are causing the problem, but I'd like to here from other A65 users if this is similar to what they see?
Any kind of advice or criticism about iso or any other aspect of the image would be very welcome.
There are probably better ways to provide the image for anyone willing to look, and I hope I've not broken any forum rules, but I wanted to make sure its in the original raw condition so just plopped it into a directory on a web server.
If you want to download it and have a look, the link below;
http://www.jtan.com/~reader/1/
will get you to the directory, then right click the *.arw file and select `save link as' from the right click menu.
