Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 G AF-S ED Lens trouble

I'm getting very weird distortion with this lens when it's wide open on both D4 and D800, not previously had any issues using it on a D3 D3x D3s or D300s. Sent it to Nikon for recalibration but still getting the problem. Anyone else experienced the same?
