I have 2 Canon dSLRs, both use the same battery and both are over 6 years old.  Now Rebels are smaller and so have a smaller different sized battery.

Canon only has one RAW format, well years ago they have .CRW and now it's CR2.  But as far as Adobe is concerned, they need to create a profile of how to interpret each new camera with RAW file format in order to ´╗┐convenrt´╗┐ the raw data into an image presentation.
