NEX6 + LA-EA2 + 70-400G, some birds in the front yard

Talking about this giant of a lens, I must say I am impresses by its IQ which in my opinion sharper than the Canon   100-400 or for that matter any such similar zoom in the market.

It is high time that Sony, with such tremendous resources at hand, do a nice 100-400 NEX version that is smaller, super light, OSS and tack sharp.  Three SD lenses. Maybe at 450 gm. Also inexpensive and affordable, I don't like to use the word "cheap".  USD400.

Wow, that 55-210 is simply the way to go but just a wee short for general wildlife! A 100-400 with exactly the same IQ as that 55-210 will be good enough.
