This is a facinating thread. It seems to me to be almost a miniature version of the whole m4/3 forum. Some people seem to be real Oly fans and others Pany fans. Then there are the agnostics who like a mix of lenses. There are the prime-only people and then there are the "primes are great but some zooms are very good and a lot more convenient" types. And some mixe the two. There is even a bit of the third party recommendations, with or without auto-control.

A couple of reasons why I like this thread:

1) There is virtually none of the sniping back and forth between factions.

2) There is a broad range of opinion and generally people explain why they like what they recommend based on their lens use.

If more of the threads on this forum were like this I think we would all benefit.

BTW, my kit has five lenses:

Pan 7-14 (not used a lot but sometimes only this wide will do)

PL 25 (probably my most used lens)

Legacy Leica 40 (sharp but manual everything) I am thinking of replacing this with the Oly 45 for the automation but wonder if I will loose image quality.

Legacy Leica 90 (again, sharp but manual everything)

4/3 Oly 50-200 (great lens on a tripod but manual focus on my GH1)

I primarilly shoot landscape.
