Yes, the cheaper Monitor ONLY calibrators will work great but then you had better not stray away from OEM inks and paper, OR you can use 3rd party papers which the manufacturers offer custom ICC profiles for. But also remember that those profiles are only correct from OEM inks.

I do get paid for my images but even if I did not, I would still consider geting the Colormunki Photo that can calibrate AND generate an ulimited number of profiles. Profiles for you printing situation would cost you as much as $40 a piece if you farm them out.

But as long as you have found a way to counteract your monitor's bias ( It's not the printer, believe me ) and you are happy you will be fine.
