4/3 systems use CDAF only. I have seen nothing to suggest that panasonic or olympus is working on PDAF, which means they are likely doing it behind closed doors.
So far Nikon and now Sony have PDAF working. The Canon PDAF is not working well. Sony seems to have it working but sounds like it needs some tweaking. Waiting on reviews but the bottom line is that mirrorless and PDAF will continue to improve. Nikon seems to lead so far.
Bottom line, DSLR continues to dominate the action market and that will not change until PDAF is available on mirrorless. Maybe DPReview will get around to evaluating the Nex5r/Nex6 one of these days....
