I Feel So Dumb...

I wouldn't say sony has the best AWB, they have good sensors but they lack the secret juice in micro adjustments like canikon have been focusing on for so many years. I find my self have to fiddle with the WB more with the a77, but now i shoot more raw than jpeg so its a 5 sec post process. I think the big difference might be the creative mode you chose, e.g. vivid, clear, deep, landscape. I like to shot with clear or deep, hope that would help.
