Firmware Update: Fuji ignoring X Pro-1 "easy" issues
6 months ago
|
The AF button location has been mentioned since the camera's inception (along with the AF speed issue and write times issues). Fuji certainly is and has been aware of these issues.
Since it seems like such an easy solution to make the Fn button mappable to the AF point selection button, can you explain to me why this was not done in the latest firmware update?
It makes me worry a bit in that perhaps there is no way to do this. Does anyone who knows anything about internal computer board design know if this might be the case?
How is it that Fuji is listening and acting on some of the more difficult to address issues (such as AF speed and write times), but not addressing what appear to be the simpler usability fixes? Strange.
I am hoping one of you has some insight.
