Semi-macro solution: which close-up lens for the 1.8/45?

My E-pl5 will arrive soon, and I am considering macro options for underwater photography. (For land - where MF is not an issue, I have an adapted 105 micro nikkor)
In underwater setups lens size is important, only a few native lenses fit in the ports sold by housing vendors. Accurate AF is also important. Therefore you can forget adapted or significantly lengthened (by ext. rings) solutions. Two option remained: native macro lens (expensive, especially being a single-purpose solution) or a close-up lens or diopter on a good prime.
Keeping the costs and traveling weight low, I decided to opt for close-up lenses on the 1.8/45 m.zuiko.
Does anyone have experience with brand close ups (Raynox 150/250, Canon-Nikon Diopters, B+W, Hoya diopters) and noname versions from ebay?
I saw some really nice examples, which tell me that the cost of the native m43 macros is simply not justified until 1:2 : http://www.flickr.com/photos/koehntopp/7954715898/in/photostream/
(of course for supermacro you have to throw in everything, short focal macro lens, bellows, close up lenses - or just buy a microscope:)))
