I am looking for good tripod

So here's the question....which one to buy?

I want quality,  so I won't have to buy another one a year from now.

I've been looking at the carbon fiber Gitzo and Really Right Stuff.

Has anyone compared these two brands give me an idea?

Really Right Stuff is about two times more expensive than Gitzo is it worth it?
