Canon EOS 60D wireless capability with 430EX Speedlites

I am seeking help in getting my 60D fire the 2 430EX (Older version) speedlites wirelessly. I have followed the manual instructions, but still could not get the flashes fire. Here is my set up:

- Both 430EX speedlites are switched to SLAVE. Both were set to chanel 1 group A

- Set up the built in flash to enable wireless, select only the external flash, and flash fire = ALL

I am not sure if it is because my EX's are not compatible with newer EOS camera, or I did something wrong?
