OMD-EM5 Firmware Update Issue

My EM5 has the original firmware (v1.2) which I am trying to update on my Mac laptop.

I have installed Updater, however when I try to start it, it tells me that it cannot connect to the internet and to check my network settings.  As I am clearly connected to the Internet, I am unsure what I need to do - not sure if it may be a computer issue and I need to change something on my laptop.

Anybody else had this issue?

BTW, I also read somewhere that I need to first update to v1.4 and then to v1.5, is this right?

I haven't updated anything via the internet before so any advice is appreciated.
