Work flow to get Oly colors from RAW

Hello everyone. I am new to Olympus and like many others picked up the XZ-1 when Amazon had the big $200 sale. I actually sent back a E-PM1 kit I had after getting the XZ-1 as I didnt plan on buying more lenses anytime soon and the kit left a little to be desired at times.
Any way, I normally shoot RAW+jpeg at all times. I didnt like the noise smearing with jpeg shots and I like what I can tweak with the RAW files. That being said I am still pretty new to tweaking! I have LR 3.6 and havent been using it long but so far I love what it can do. I know I am just barely scratching the surface of what it could actually do but I am happy with using the basics of noise reduction, exp comp, spot removal, etc.
Now what I do love about Oly jpegs are the colors. They do live up to their reputation. When shooting RAW and using LR I lose that. Is there an easy way to get the colors back in LR from the RAW files? I do have OV2 but I really do not like using it. The interface is very slow and clunky with long delays from making adjustments to what is being shown on the screen. I have a pretty new PC running Win 7 64, Sandy Bridge Core i5, 8GB RAM, and a Radeon 6630M card. Even with my video card settings maxed out the OV2 program is still maddeningly slow vs. LR or even something simpler like Picasa.
My thoughts if I could get OV2 working better would be to batch process all RAW files or jpegs there, make sure NR was Off and then output everything as a jpeg or tiff. Then I can use LR to open those and tweak there. That seems a little cumbersome and is an extra step I would prefer to avoid if possible.
Any suggestions or anything I am missing?
