Long time no "speak." You make an interesting point. Of course if one can build the bigger/better/more expensive mousetrap, it's hard not to. But to what end - especially if the goal is a commercial rather than exploratory work product. I could imagine technical applications for instance which might make a full frame or larger Foveon sensor attractive. Perhaps deep space imaging, satellite mapping, etc. But unless there's a likely market out there, even if untapped or underserved today, the business driver for such a product may be anemic.
