Nex 5n newbie

Well I have only had my NEX 5N for around 4 weeks, before I have only had point and shoot cameras and did not have a clue what Aperture, ISO, White Balance etc meant... so a few weeks of solid reading and I think I am starting to understand each setting but also how it effects others. To really get a full understanding I only shoot in Manual... I was advised if I do this my control and understanding in A or S modes will be far better.... so as a start here are some shots I have taken

Most are with the 18-55mm lens, hand held, full manual and also manual focus, however most shots I made the mistake of using HDR and not DRO.. lesson learnt J

I do have the 16mm lens but don’t get on with it that much.
