XZ-2 (or XZ-1) external bounce flash?

Hi all. I've owned an XZ-1 in the past (random photo I took of one of my kids with XZ-1 below). I know what it is -- and is NOT -- capable of doing. After owning m/43 system for a while, I'm going back to something smaller for my lifestyle, so have an XZ-2 on order.

Meanwhile, I know I will want to add an external flash onto the cameras hotshoe. Any suggestions? I do NOT want FL-300R since it is limited in bounce and output. Thus, I was thinking Metz 36 (can tllt, but not swivel) or Metz 50 (tilt + swivel, but probably toooooo big). Any thoughts? (These Metz 36 and 50 products are equiv to the Oly flashes of same number, just cheaper and also TTL).
