Gig pictures COL>>B/W: suggestions, feedback and what to improve?

With the extreme contrast, I like the soft focus of this one. I selected and then used gaussian blur on the equipment on the left, then did a lot of color and lighting adjustment, before using the B&W filter in CS5.
