Best place to buy used lenses?

Hi,
I am looking for a gently used Tamron or Sony 18-250 for my A57. What is good place to buy used lenses for Sony? I checked eBay, but the selection is not that great there, and it also seems quite expensive for not being able to fully evaluate the lens before buying.
