SEL 1018 with Sony NEX 7 - link to samples

I briefly tried today Sony SEL 1018 on NEX 7 in a local store. Pictures are boring, but if you consider this lens, you might want to check them anyway.

After my recent experience with a new 16-50, I was afraid that Sony went with a software correction approach on this lens too.

Nope.

In short - I am impressed with the optics, not so much with a price tag and build quality. But I will definitely order my sample tomorrow. (I just hope that there are not significant sample variations)
