Why did you buy an X series???

Do not get me wrong, it is a nice camera, but it is very limited in what it is good for and it is no substitute for my 5d2 except for certain niche applications.

Based on the performance and capabilities the manufacturer advertised, the first purchase is great, the second one an expensive disapointment.
