I was too hasty buying the Xpro1, I would not buy it now because of the poor RAW implementation, funky colour and the inability to integrate the (terribly designed) bundled raw processor into my workflow. It is just not that good, although the lenses may test well on an optical bench I cannot see the results in the RAW files.

I hope a good solution comes soon. I will not buy another camera with an xtrans sensor. I would have been delighted if it had the same or a similar sensor to the x100.

Do not get me wrong, it is a nice camera, but it is very limited in what it is good for and it is no substitute for my 5d2 except for certain niche applications.

Based on the performance and capabilities the manufacturer advertised, the first purchase is great, the second one an expensive disapointment.

Yours and others experience and reasoning are very helpful to me.

I was called this morning that my X-E1 Kit has arrived. For the Raw reasons I will most likely let someone else make this purchase. As much as I am drawn to the image quality of X-Trans I'm now leaning more for the E-M5 Oly with weather sealing. Down the road I will revisit any advancements for Raw.
