Video quality question

When the camera nailed it, the video was fantastic. But hit and miss IQ is unacceptable for me, I need to know my camera is producing something every bit as good as what I'm seeing on the LCD as people are paying for what I'm shooting. The replacement should be here in a few days. I'm going to test along side my Nex5n again to see if its any better. If not I'm not sure what I'm going to do other than to return the new camera.
