I second Rudy's recommendation - had exactly the same experience, on both counts. Note that Corel currently is offering PSP x5 (the newest version) for $40.

At that price it's a steal. I paid $120 for it 15 years ago (JASC)... or longer, I dunno I can't remember... I still use version 7 (oh my gosh... talk about old dogs not wanting to learn new tricks). LOL!
