Well it's a matter of fact that there still isn't a blue light emitting organic dye that not has a significant shorter life cycle. Finding such a dye still is the holy grail of OLED - and nobody yet has touted his horn of doing so, it would be a nobel prize worthy achievement... Looking at the OLED from my one year old smartphone is already showing a strong yellow cast...
