Re: Nikon should realize the market potential for D800s for higher sales numbers

Is the D4 16MP sensor so expensive that they could not put it into the D800s body and sell the body at $3000 (or $2800 maybe). They sell far less D4 cameras than D800 I imagine, so if a new camera was available overall camera unit sales should go up on a new camera. How many D4s do they sell anyway? This is what I imagine many wedding photographers would prefer (a 16MP or a 24MP in D800) to speed up processing 1000+ photos per wedding. Nikon does not truly understand the needs or wants of many wedding photographers which is a sizeable market for FF in my opinion. I have heard from many other photographers on why they will not get a 36MP camera for wedding and do not totally like the D600 lower body specs. That said, some do get D800 anyway for wedding but if they had the choice they may have gone with lower MP (16 or 24) for faster workflow. The D600 body does not cut it for pro use. I would be willing to get a 16MP or 24MP camera in a D800 pro body and pay around $3000. The D4 I feel is overkill IQ and price for my needs.
