Best non-nikon standard zoom out there - Tamron or Sigma?

Hey,

I'm thinking about Tamron 24-70/2.8 and Sigma 24.70/2.8 for D600. The Nikkor is too expensive. Which one do you guys thing is better overall? Sigma is cheaper and uglier...
