T3i, 18-55mm, 55-250mm: Will This Package Be Good For Me?

The circular polarizer (CPL) is a great addition to your kit. They do take some work to understand when and how to best use them. It is really easy to "overcook" the effect. Just play around with it. One tip - they have the greatest impact when you're shooting 90 degrees relative to the sun.
