Best MILC for Shooting Figure Skating?

Thank You! I am definitely not opposed to used. I live a couple hours from NYC and had not thought about checking those stores out in person, because I have not had any luck at the camera stores anywhere else: PA, MD, VA

I don't expect her to get discouraged from blurry photos while she's learning; she sees the results of the pro's photos at her events and wants to do better, but she's realistic. She will also use the camera for lots of other things, so she will have plenty of good photos from those events.

She has been using an advanced 2 year old point and shoot for everything, so no matter what, she will be much happier with the results:-)
