Anybody process G5 movies with iMovie? How do you do it?

Welcome. I just wanted to add, in case you don't know, that for most editors, certainly FCP and I believe iMovie too, you need to copy the whole AVCHD folder structure to your computer. I create a folder on my desktop each time I copy video shoots from an SD card and place the AVCHD folder inside that. FCP finds the clips automatically with the "log and transfer" function and imports them. Someone mentioned that with iMovie you drag the folder to the timeline, but I cannot confirm that.
