E-M5 tripod socket damage

I reported on this forum earlier that my Q-strap mounting plate would bottom out before the plate was snug.  This same plate snugged up nicely on my G1 so I got out my vernier caliper & measured the depth of the socket & found it a full mm less in depth than the G1.

Given this & the details provided above, it is reasonable to conclude the socket was pressed out by the tripod screw bottoming out.

I ground off 1.5mm of my Q-strap mount screw & everything is fine with my gear.
