What's new - it's exactly the same as any other camera with interchangeable lenses with hoods and built-in flash, including my FX and DX Nikons. When the light is coming from behind the lens you don't need a hood.  Are you actually a photographer or a professional moaner.

A guru you most definitely are not. An embarrassment you most definitely are.
