Do people really post images here in order to receive constructive criticism? I haven't seen many examples of this, honestly.

Oh, and if you think you can do better, don't just claim it (that usually means you can't), instead prove it. Post an image of your own.

"Do it better"? In what kind of culture or group of people do they instinctively want to create art to compete? If there are photographs that can be viewed with this perspective, then I don't think they're even trying to pose as art.

Luckily, I've never actually seen such a claim - which, of course, doesn't mean people don't think that.
