E-M5 tripod socket damage

I will take credit for the scuff marks. There are two types of scuff marks: 1) circular scuff marks caused by screwing the camera on and off my tripod head (as I said I don't have a QR mechanism) and 2) scuff marks that are the residual of the sticky medical tape I used to cover the hole in the bottom of my camera. However, I can't say they are at all related to the cause of the broken bushing. That being said, maybe I should look into a QR plate just to avoid the circular scuff marks...
