US original release was 30% lower than D800, in Europe it was 17% lower... Now in Europe the camera flirts with 1600... thats 550 less than the 2150 original... and (surprise, surprise) as much as in US, which happens with no other product and it does include VAT tax...

I think you should expect a significant drop in US price too very soon...
