A friend just contacted me regarding his 28-300. Seem that the zoom is sticking towards the wide end (at 35mm).

Anybody had this problem? I seem to remember that this might have something to do with the tightening ring that stops the zoom creep.

Sent a mail to Canon already, but any feedback I get here would be most welcome.
