RX1 review on DCWATCH
That's a good point Igor, I'd missed that. For a straight out of the camera JPG, the RX1 compares very well with the others.
With respect to those balconies, with anti-alias filter free cameras like the M9, GXR/M, D800E, the new Pentax, and others, moire and false colour are something you learn to live with. I find it shows up infrequently in nature and street but fairly often in cityscapes. The RX1 isn't overly troubled by moire and false colour. Yay.
Let's be patient until getting some raw files from the RX1. BTW, I know the Summicron 35/2 asph. and from the wide open shots I have seen so far, I can state that the Sonnar is the better one; for WO sharpness and more important, bokeh.
