Alternative paper needed

Thanks for theweight conversion numbers and the suggestions.  I will try that.  No, I have not tried laminating a smooth matte for about 15 years.....after consistent failure at that time.  I have had a reasonably happy little window of time with the dye inks, 3000's, and that paper but that window is closing.
