X 10 serial nos/new sensor?

I can buy a new X10 quite cheaply from a local store.  I suspect because of the price it is a grey import (I don't have a practical or moral issue with that).  If that is so, the guarantee will be a 'shop guarantee' which means in practice that they will fix it if it goes wrong. (I bought my F30 from them some years ago which they had to fix, and their service was fine)

However I think that getting the sensor changed might prove problematic if it is one of the ones suffering from blooming.

So, could folks with X 10s with the original sensor say what their serial numbers are?

Is there any other way of checking if the camera has the new sensor?  (Would installed v2 be a clue?)
