Is 16mm f2.4 anygood?

I am new to Samsung and the forum. I just bought a Samsung NX1000 with 20-50 kit lens and 16mm f 2.4. I bought the 16mm because it was discounted to $200. Is it a good sharp prime? I fear it is like the unremarkable Sony NEX 16mm f2.8 I had before. Your advice will be appreciated.
