The waiting is killing me !!

Olympus will introduce new mft cameras next year.  Most likley one at CP+ in January.  The rumors has been all over the place on what camera/cameras Olympus will be introducing.  The OMD is supposed to be the camera line name with the E-M5 being the first model with models above and below coming int he future.  The E-P line was a three mocel line with the E-P# being the top of the line and the E-PL being the middle of the line and the E-PM being the bottom of the line.  The E-PM and the E-PL have both been upgraded.  So one will assume a new E-P model is coming.  Epson has a new EVF in the works and no camera has yet used it.  It is supposed to be better and smaller.  So I am totally guessing we will see an E-P5 announced at CP+ and it will have a built-in EVF.  So this makes one wonder if there is enough room in the market place for a new OMD model below the E-M5.  My guess is that there will not be.  I am also guessing that the OMD model above the E-M5 will not be announced until mid-2013 about the time the leaked 40-140/f2.8 is introduced.  I am also guessing there will be a 12-40/f2.8 lens announced along with the OMD body above the E-M5.

I do love my E-M5 and my wife really wants one for Christmas to replace her E-PL2.  She has the add-on EVF on her E-PL2 all the time and with it it is bulkier than my E-M5.  Anyhow, I am not buying her an E-M5 because I am waiting to see if there will be an E-P5 with a built-in EVF announced at CP+.  If so then I will get her one for her birthday.  Otherwise it will be a E-M5.
