EOS-M : Street Photography - well, it was worth a shot (PICS)

It was something of a heatwave here today and I had two hours to spare with my EOS-M
This is why I find street photography a little 'awkward': people see you taking their picture and can't really do anything to let you know if they approve or not... until they get close enough to wring your neck or set their little dogs onto you.
This poor seagull was a long way from the ocean - and is trying to keep cool.
Hagrid's brother, I presume.
Window licking dish-licker.
Pigeons attempting to keep cool in the ferocious heat.
Seagulls trying to cool down near the river.
Probably the first shot I took for the day.
I'd have shot this wider but I was up against a brick wall.
An alleyway that I used to shortcut through has now been painted bright yellow and fitted with gates.
VERY soft background or 'Bokeh' (I hate that word).
Pigeon in the park - which was avoiding another pigeon nearby that was pestering it for affection. I thought this image was out of focus at first.
I had a couple of images that would show up as blurry when I reviewed them... and it puzzled me for a while until I took a closer look at my camera handling style and discovered I was gripping the focus ring on the lens. It seems that I was turning the focus ring slightly as I was shooting... which resulted in the focus being altered occasionally during the process of taking the photographs.
