Look, Fuji could have just ported their in-camera raw processing module to Windows and Mac, added batch processing and 16-bit tiff writing.. and THAT would have been a vastly superior solution to that atrocious SilkyPix thing.

How can you possibly blame Adobe, Apple or whoever for poor XF sensor support when 99% of cameras on the market are based on Bayer design? I bet that Adobe's demosaicing library had been written, tested and LOCKED for some years now. Furthermore, I would bet $20 that the whole Lightroom app is not written in any sort of modular manner (based on what we know about Adobe's struggles with bringing Photoshop code to a new framework on MacOS). So any core changes are going to take a long, long time. If they are coming at all, that is.

I think most of the rage in the forums is not due to a fact that Adobe, Apple, CameraOne et al are failing to support Fujifilm, but because Fuji's offering is such a complete turd.
