Do you use 5D III plus 24-105 as travel camera?

I've been using the 24-105L on my 5DmkIII on my last vacation too. A one lens solution on our family cruise. The results were pretty good. I did remove the protective UV filter that I normally install on all my lenses as it seemed very sensible to stray light. Upon removal, the results were very good

I did buy the pancake lens a little while back and appreciate its size and its excellent output too. It might be a good addition to your travel kit as f/2.8 is appreciated in the evenings !!!

Have a great trip and remember, bringing photographs is very nice indeed, but do not forget to enjoy yourself and see with your own eyes too...
