Looking for a 27" monitor (Mac/Samsung/Dell) for photo editing

Have a look at the NEC PA241W http://www.necdisplay.com/p/desktop-monitors/pa241w-bk Superb monitor, 10bit, internal LUT. Pick up a Vid card that supports 10-bit thru Displayport (NEC has a approves list) and calibration is easy and accurate. I would suggest the package that includes the NEC Spectraview software - custom software that only works with the PA series and you'll never look back. I prefer 2x24" over 1 27", although they do make the PA271W built to the same standards but the price is a little steep.
